Program Outline
Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) offers scholarship for qualified international students who are accepted by a Japanese university under a student exchange agreement or other student exchange arrangement on a short-term basis for one year between Japanese university and their home higher educational institution outside Japan.
Details of program
The title of program is “The education and research leader upbringing program to environment preservation through Agri-Food Linkage”. The students enroll as undergraduate special auditors or graduate special auditors and carry out research including laboratory work and field work under the guidance of a supervisor at Faculty of Agriculture, Yamagata University. Title of research is determined after discussion with the supervisor. The students also study some subjects such as seminar, intensive scientific English and Japanese language. Credit exchange between two universities is available. Tutors are assigned to each student for the purpose of giving special help outside of the classroom in order to promote his/her studies and research activities.
There will be 2-3 Students of Chemistry M.Sc. Students of UGM will be nominated for this Summer Exchange Programs 2017.
Hokkaido University (HU) can offer scholarships of 70,000 yen for each person for those who is willing to complete PARE Short Program (1 credit of Introduction to PARE I ~ IV + 3 credits of PARE Summer School).
Air ticket will NOT be provided.
Note:
(1) Dormitory can be secured for those who applied through HSI website at lower cost (depending on availabilities, however, it costs normally around 1,000 yen/day + utilities, so if one stays over 2 weeks of summer school, room charge can be estimated around 20,000 yen or so. Transportation cost to campus (normally around 700 yen round trip/day), eating and shopping costs would need to be added.
Mahasiswa Program S2 Kimia FMIPA UGM diwajibkan mengikuti Kuliah Pemenang Nobel pada tanggal 10 Februari 2017 di Grha Sabha Pramana (GSP). Kuliah mulai jam 09.00. Pendengar harus hadir 15 menit sebelum kuliah dimulai. Pendaftaran secara online di ugm.id/nobel
Pilihan waktu sebagai berikut: pagi, sore atau pagi/sore. Prodi S2 Kimia menyarankan mahasiswa mengikuti 2 sesi sekaligus, pagi/sore. Karena keterbatasan tempat, silakan mendaftar lebih awal untuk mendapatkan voucher.
Dengan adanya kegiatan Public Lecture ini, perkuliahan Program S2 Kimia FMIPA UGM tanggal 10 Februari 2017 ditiadakan.
