NAIST Pre-screening Internship 2019 (For Specially Recommended International Students for 2020/2021 Enrollment) which will take place at the Division of Materials Science, Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST) from December 3 to December 20, 2019.
This program is open to all Master students, faculty members, researchers or graduates from your university who passionately wish to enroll and continue their studies in the NAIST doctoral program. The internship consists of a lab-stay and an interview with our faculty members. Based on participants’ performance during the lab-stay and interview, we will evaluate their suitability for the NAIST doctoral program and select potential doctoral students. Participants who are eventually selected will be admitted to NAIST in October 2020 without any further examination. Some excellent participants may be selected for scholarships. Selection is based on performance during the internship program.
Diumumkan, khususnya bagi calon mahasiswa S2 Prodi Fisika, Prodi Matematika, Prodi Kimia, dan Prodi Ilmu Komputer UGM, mengenai dibukanya pendaftaran Program Gelar Ganda (Double Degree Program – DDP) antara FMIPA UGM dan Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology, Kanazawa University Japan, tahun akademik 2019/2020.
Mahasiswa yang dapat mengikuti program ini adalah Mahasiswa S2 dari Prodi Fisika, Prodi Matematika, Prodi Kimia, dan Prodi Ilmu Komputer UGM Angkatan 2019/2020 yang sudah dinyatakan diterima oleh Direktorat Administrasi Akademik (DAA) UGM. Program Gelar Ganda ini adalah program dalam bidang Master dalam bidang Sains Komputasi. Setelah menyelesaikan program, mahasiswa akan mendapatkan dua ijazah sekaligus, yaitu ijazah S2 dari UGM dan Master of Computational Science dari Kanazawa University Japan.
The PARE Summer School will be enrolled in a scheme of Hokkaido Summer Institute (HSI 2019) same as HSI 2018 held last summer. Through HSI, applicants will get benefit from easier access to visa application and to booking dormitory. In order for us to benefit from its service, we would like to call PARE Summer School 2019 applications.
The program offers scholarship to 2-3 candidates per each consortium university, so we would like to at least call for applications of 2-3 students.
Note:
(1) Scholarship: Hokkaido University is planning to offer scholarship of 70,000 yen for 2-3 students per each consortium university for those who is willing to complete PARE Short Program (1 credit of at least 1 course of Introduction to PARE I ~ IV + PARE Summer School (PARE Field Work Training I + PARE Seminar I ))
(2) Air ticket will NOT be provided, participants must arrange by themselves
We invite 2 candidates for Sakura Program 2019 at Hiroshima University under the theme ‘Future Science by Photochemistry’. The Japan Science and Technology (JST) will provide travel expenses and accomodation at Hiroshima University for 1 week, August 4-August 10, 2019. The candidates must have good standing of English Proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS) and Academic Records (GPA). The interested students can register through the following link by February 9, at 16.00.

Short visit to Hokkaido University 2019
Hokkaido university invites students from the Chemistry M.Sc. Program Department of Chemistry Universitas Gadjah Mada to visit and do some activities in 2019. Prof. Dr. Kurasaki had informed us during the last Learning Satellite Program at UGM. Returned tickets and accommodation are provided by Hokkaido University. A limited number of students of 2-3 students are possible. If you have a good academic standing (GPA) and have a good English proficiency (TOEFL score), you could register through the link below. PARE Short Program Spring School 2019 will be held at Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia from February 15 to 25, 2019. Please find the attached pdf of Spring School 2019 flyer.
Registration is open now until 25 October 2018. The main venue is UGM’s UC Hotel.

2. There are no financial support (ex. scholarship) from PARE Central Office, support for registration fee is available.
