Would you like to learn more about publishing with the Royal Society of Chemistry?
As an Royal Society of Chemistry accredited university, we would like to invite you to take part in a webinar run by us for you. This webinar in an exclusive benefit for you as an accredited university.
The details of the webinar are as follows:
Title: Open Access: what it is and how does it affect you?
Date: Wednesday 10th October (15.00 WIB)
Time: 9:00 UK time (lasting approximately 1 hour). The time of the webinar will therefore be 15:00 in Indonesia, 16:00 in Malaysia, China, Hong Kong and Singapore.
The webinar uses web-based software, so you don’t need any special equipment – just laptops/PCs with internet access. The webinar content is suitable for research students and researchers. They will be able to submit questions in advance on publishing-related topics.
The research students and researchers can all be gathered together in a seminar room if that works best for you, although individuals can also log in from anywhere if they have the registration link and a laptop with internet access. We don’t use video as this can get too complicated, but attendees will see a Powerpoint presentation on the screen and hear us talking. If they are logged in personally on their laptops they will be able to type in questions ‘live’ during the webinar. We see the questions appearing on the screen as they type and we can answer.
The link to register for the webinar is here. Please could you send this link to relevant research students and research staff members for them to register. To register all they need to do is click on the link provided above and follow the instructions. The instructions will ask them for some details and will be where they can ask questions if they would like to. Your research students and researchers can register even if they are unable to attend on the day as they will still receive a recording of the webinar afterwards.
