Call for Application
PARE Online Spring School 2021 will be held this year.
As the COVID -19 infection rate has still been high, we have decided to run the school with a small group of HU students (physical attendance) in Sapporo and hopefully some PARE consortium university students(online attendance) in Thailand/Indonesia for a week (March 1,2021-March 6,2021).
The lectures will be delivered via both real time online session and on demand. VR will be used for some parts so this will be a new experience for the program and participants as well.
With regard to credits, instead of 3 credits for the 2 subjects (Seminar:1, Fieldwork:2), 2 credits can be earned at HU for this school (Seminar:1, Fieldwork:1).
As usual, the syllabi and schedule of the school will be provided to you by HU. Credits (SKS) will be provided to the students for successful attendance.
PARE Online Spring School certificate will be issued to those who have completed the course.
Note:
➀ We would like to welcome 2-3 students per university (UGM 3 students).
➁ NO participation fee will be required.
➂ Please make sure that the participants need to attend all online lectures /discussion and study lectures (on demand)
➃ As usual, consortium universities are required to report us the name of the courses and number of credits which will be given to students at your institution by participating PARE Online Spring School 2021.

This online school is going to be experimental one, however, we strongly believe that this “hybrid” type of educational approach will be very meaningful one in reshaping methods for PARE Schools for better in the future.
